Brave Enough-Chapter 6
Chapter 6 — The Healing Garden Collection
I painted this one in a difficult time of life.
I won't tell you it was easy. I won't tell you the storm has passed. But I will tell you this — somewhere in the middle of the pain, I painted this garden that was still choosing to bloom.
Being brave doesn't always look like a battle cry.
Sometimes it is a quiet inward declaration that enough is enough.
Tall foxglove spires rise with quiet dignity against a luminous teal background. A generous white Japanese anemone opens fully at the center, unafraid. Soft pink flowers unfurl at the base, still becoming. White daisies scatter across the canvas like small brave stars. Deep navy Canterbury bells hang like lanterns lighting the way in the approaching dusk.
Above it all, the background shifts from luminous teal through violet and rose to warm burnt orange and gold — a sky that is both stormy and beautiful, both ending and beginning. The kind of sky that appears just before everything changes.
This is where hope stops being a wish and becomes a decision.
You don't have to be fearless. You don't have to have it all figured out. You just have to be brave enough to keep going.
And some days, brave enough is everything.
The garden is open. You are welcome here. 💜
