I'm Laura Jones —
Painter, Lover of color, light and blue skies!
I've always believed that beauty is one of the most quietly powerful forces in the world. Not the loud, look-at-me kind — but the soft, stop-you-in-your-tracks kind.
A garden in full bloom. A bird perched perfectly still among the flowers. A beautiful sunset and the sound of the waves at the beach, the dolphins playing in the waves. They are all a reminder of the beauty we can appreciate everyday.
That belief lives in every painting I make.
My work is expressive, colorful, and inspired by the natural world — florals, birds, gardens, and the kind of light that makes everything feel a little more alive. I paint in layers, jewel tones to soft pastels, all colors that make me smile and bring me peace.
My latest collection, The Healing Garden Collection,
is a series of thirteen original works
each one a doorway into a different garden, and a different chapter of healing.
Whether you're treating yourself or finding something meaningful to give to someone you love, I hope something here speaks to your heart.
You'll find this collection as original canvas paintings, fine art giclee prints and fine art cards suitable for framing.
Thank you for visiting,
Laura Jones
In 2020, while I was living in the Santa Barbara area, California experienced one of its most spectacular wildflower seasons — so vast it could be seen from space. Flowers I had never seen in California before erupted across the landscape. Over the next four years I explored everywhere from Los Angeles to Oregon the community garden in Carpinteria, the beautiful rolling hills of Santa Ynez Valley, Big Sur and the coastline. My first awe inspiring view of Yosemite National Park, brought tears to my eyes. Yellowstone,The Grand Tetons, the beauty of Montana and Jackson Hole — the whole magnificent West became my studio. Even the drive up Highway 5 between California and Oregon became inspiration — those golden tan hills rolling like velvet across the landscape.
For 46 years I worked in the beauty industry, doing what I loved, cutting and coloring hair, and mentoring women. It was never just about hair.I love the people — listening, laughing, connecting, and creating relationships that have lasted decades.
Walking in this new chapter of my life,I have new appreciation for who I am, and what I have done. And I hope that comes through in every brushstroke of every painting.

The Best Art Finds You
You're not looking for it — you walk past it, stop, and something in you says yes. That has my name on it. That's your heart speaking.
Art That Stays
I didn't grow up in a house full of fine art. But something in me always knew the difference between art that decorates a wall and art that speaks to your soul. Art chosen from the heart stays with you your whole life. That's what I hope to create — paintings that find the right person and never let go.
